Participants of the Culture Plus program will follow the procedure stated below.

Step 1: Apply
Are you interested in joining the Culture Plus program? If so, please apply by filling out the application form on our website. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about the program.

Step 2: Have an interview
We will plan a personal meeting or Skype conversation. During this interview, we will discuss your motivation and your preference in terms of host family and location in China. We will also inform you about all the details of the program and about the exact procedure.

Step 3: Sign up
You complete the sign up form, send it to us and pay the application fee. You are now officially signed up for our program.

Step 4: Look for a match
Together with our Chinese partner we will look for a suitable Chinese host family. Firstly, you will Skype with our Chinese partner directly. Secondly, you will Skype with the Chinese host family to get to know each other and to find out whether you like each other. If so, we have found a match!

Step 5: Apply for your visa
In collaboration with our Chinese partner we will help you to take care of all the documents you need to apply for your visa. You personally apply for your visa.

Step 6: Leave for China
You are ready to leave for China! In China, you will receive a training to learn about Chinese culture and your responsibilities in your host family.

Step 7: Stay in touch
Stay in touch with us after you have arrived in China. We are not only looking forward to hearing about how you are doing in China, we are also ready to help you out if necessary.
