About The Program

The English teaching program has been developed by the Chinese government to offer English teaching opportunities in China to western young people, while at the same time giving the teachers possibility to discover China.

As the English language becomes more and more useful and important, many Chinese schools are starting to focus on improving their students’ spoken and written English. However, as the local English teachers do not speak fluent English themselves, the Chinese Government has been recruiting foreign English teachers to help the schools with improving their students’ English language skills. We are one of the organisations involved in helping the Chinese Government to recruit foreign English teachers. It is our responsibility to help the recruiting schools with the Visa applications for their teachers.

School Description

For the English Teacher program, we have both public as well as private Chinese schools available. These vary from kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools and sometimes even colleges.

The ages of the students at these schools depend on what level of educational institute it is. The ages of the students ranges between 3 and 6 for kindergartens, 6 and 12 for elementary schools, 12 and 15 for middle schools, 15 and 18 for high schools and 18 and 22 for colleges.

Our schools will provide you with a schedule for 25 to 30 working hours per week, a fully furnished private apartment and free meals during workdays (in public schools). Every month you will receive a salary starting from 8000 RMB up to 16000 RMB (roughly between £800 and £1700).

If you work at our public schools, you will be always free during weekends and public holidays, which will give you lots of free time to travel around China and explore its culture and to try its tasty food. In private schools, you will work during the afternoon and evenings.
