About the program

The goal of the program is to improve students’ football or basketball skills as well as create a better understanding of game rules within an English speaking environment. This kind of environment creates a safe and manageable space for students to communicate with peers without feeling vulnerable.

Course Objectives

  • To help students develop skills necessary to participate in a wide range of activities, such as soccer and basketball;
  • Prepare kids to be physically and mentally active, fit, and healthy into adulthood;
  • To cultivate a love for sport and physical activities;
  • To broaden their horizons, by helping them with designing/organizing different activities;
  • To improve children’s oral English and help them become more confident in expressing themselves within games.

About the classes

Pre-school Program (for 4-6 years old students)
The purpose of this program is to help children establish good exercise habits. It will also teach children about the correct use of equipment.

Primary Program (for 7-12 years old students)
The purpose of this program is to familiarise children with different group sports, like football and basketball. The training will be done is small groups. The trainers will organise matches between groups, to further their knowledge of the game and better their teamwork and sportsmanship.

Secondary Program (for 13-17 years old students)
The purpose of this program will focus more on the technical and tactical processes of the different sports involved. The trainers will also focus on controlled playing time/environment to avoid exhaustion.


  • Must be older than 22 and younger than 40;
  • Be from the United Kingdom or the Netherlands;
  • A bachelor’s degree relates to Physical Education and Sport;
  • Two years working experience in any type of sports training after obtaining the bachelor’s degree;
  • With UEFA C level coaching certificate or similar level certificate;
  • Must not have been convicted of a crime and have no record of contagious or serious diseases.
  • Be able to sign a working contract for at least 10 months;
  • Be able to start in March/September.


 £800 – £1700 monthly salary (depending on experience and degrees);
£500 – £1000 flight allowance;
Paid accommodation or housing allowance;
 Paid Chinese health insurance;
 Paid Chinese Public holidays;
Holiday allowance will be provided (depending on the school);
