English Teacher at Yichang International High School

We are currently looking for 2 qualified English Teachers for an International High School in Yichang, Hubei province. You will have a maximum of 20 teaching hours per week. You will receive a monthly salary starting at 12.000RMB after taxes and a decent accommodation will be provided by the school. The student’s age is about 17 years old and they will study abroad after their graduation.

Main responsibilities
– Prepare and deliver English classes
– Prepare and carry out appropriate teaching plans
– Assess students’ work and provide feedback

Working environment
– Maximum of 20 teaching hours per week
– Class size: around 20 students per class
– Always work together with a teaching assistant

– Excellent command of English
– Available for at least 10 months, starting from September 2017
– Bachelors degree or equivalent (a higher degree will enhance your employment conditions)
– Hold a teaching qualification such as TESOL, TEFL, ESOL or CELTA. You can also apply for it after being accepted by China Plus
– Willing to join extra activities the school organises
– Open-minded towards Chinese culture
– Flexible, creative and patient personality

-Monthly salary starting at 12.000RMB, depending on qualifications and experience
– Free off-campus furnished accommodation (shared), including utilities, with cooking facilities
– Comprehensive medical and accident insurance while employed in China
– Free daily meals at the school canteen
– 11 paid public holidays per year
– 21 days paid winter break
– Costs for residence permit and medical check-up will be covered

– At most 10.000RMB flight ticket reimbursement upon completion of your contract
