On behalf of the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, we recruit European professionals to work as Education Ambassadors to teach the English language, with a focus on communication skills, in Chinese Elementary, secondary and high schools in the city of Lishui,Zhejiang Province.

As a EuropeanEducation Ambassador, you will be assigned to different groups of students. Your main responsibilities are teaching speaking English, organising activities for students to learn about European cultures, participating in yearly school activities and celebrating traditional Chinese festivals. In total, you will have a maximum 20 teaching hours per week. Each teaching hour is 45 minutes. The age of the students is between 8 and 15 years old.   Throughout the program, you will always have a Chinese assistant standing by to help you out. In the middle of the academic year, you will have 3 to 4 weeks of paid school holidays to travel around China and other Asian countries. The program will finish in late June 2020.
